Free Alice Cooper Solid Rock Summer Showcase in Mesa

Get ready for an incredible night of local talent! Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers are teaming up with EVIT and 88.7 The Pulse. Together, they present the 4th Annual Summer Showcase.
This free, all-ages event takes place on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the EVIT Official Auditorium in Mesa.
Supporting Local Youth
Solid Rock Teen Centers give teens ages 12 to 20 free lessons in music, dance, art, and stagecraft. The Summer Showcase wraps up their intensive 12-week summer program. It gives young artists a real stage and a live audience.
“For many of these teens, this is their first big show,” says Alexis Hernandez, Director of Mesa Solid Rock Teen Center. “For some, it will be life-changing. We are working together to help these teens reach the next level”.
EVIT Talent Takes the Stage
The event showcases strong ties between Solid Rock, EVIT, and 88.7 The Pulse. Former EVIT Radio students are taking center stage.
- Spike & Three Finger Friday: Former EVIT Radio student Spike recently hosted this episode of The Public Pulse. He will also hit the stage with his band, Three Finger Friday.
- LANCE!: Former EVIT student Lance brings his solo act to the lineup. He continues a strong tradition of EVIT radio talent making waves in the Valley.
What You Will See
The showcase features a huge mix of youth talent:
- Live Music: Performances by Three Finger Friday, LANCE!, Santhana, Her Dead Roses, and the Mesa Jam Band. The jam band will play favorite early 2000s emo and rock hits.
- Live Dance: Choreographed sets by the Solid Rock Mesa Dance Company.
- Art Gallery: Original art on display and for sale. Features work from the Mesa Youth Creative Agency (MYCA) and Solid Rock students.
