Everyone in the class was an adult, so it was supposed to be fun, and I said ‘pro wrestler’ as a joke. She goes, ‘Are you serious? I know a guy.’ Next thing I knew, I got connected with someone who had his own wrestling company in Phoenix. He started a wrestling school, and I became his first student.”
What started as a casual remark quickly turned into a defining moment in Graves’ life. Looking back, he admits, “That’s kinda just how it started – by accident.”
