RelentlessBeats Turned WestWorld Super Unnatural
The Super Unnatural music festival brought the spooky vibes to WestWorld earlier this month. This festival was hosted by RelentlessBeats and was a part of their Body Language series of festivals.
The first night had performances by Hugel, Chris Lake, Dombresky, and Eric Prydz to name a few. This year’s Super Unnatural festival was also themed after Day of the Dead and took place right after Halloween. Naturally people were dressed in all sorts of costumes. I saw plenty of interesting outfits but my personal favorite was a couple dressed up as Cosmo and Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents. Along with the great outfits, Super Unnatural was also host to some amazing sets. Whether it was Hugel bringing the Latin vibes or Chris lake closing out the night with banger after banger the first night had some of my favorite moments of the entire weekend. The highlight for me though was getting to meet and interview Hugel.
The second night of Super Unnatural was just as energetic as the first if not more. Despite the pouring rain DJs like Aluna, Lilly Palmer, and Fatboy Slim kept the crowd dancing. A moment from the second night that stuck out to me was Fatboy Slim’s set. He used AI videos of celebrities swapping faces as visuals. The event finally closed out with a back to back DJ set from Mochakk and The Martinez Brothers. I personally had a great time at Super Unnatural and can’t wait for next year. Special thanks to RelentlessBeats for allowing us to cover the event.
