PHOENIX, AZ—An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for the Phoenix area and several Arizona counties as temperatures soar. This week, highs are expected to reach 114°F (45.6°C) in some parts of the state. The mercury will peak between 110°F and 114°F (43.3°C and 45.6°C) on Thursday and Friday.
