This month, we are featuring several of our graduating seniors as part of our “5th Annual EVIT Radio Senior Salute.” This year’s graduating class of 2024 boasts a remarkable number of seniors at 88.7 The Pulse, and we are thrilled to pay tribute to their dedication and achievements. Join us in honoring one of these outstanding seniors, Jason Richey !
Meet Jason, who will also be graduating from Perry High School this month. After EVIT, Jason will be attending ASU in the Fall and plans to major in Business Communications. His favorite EVIT memories are covering professional sports games (Phoenix Suns, Diamondbacks & Rising), and serving as a play-by-play announcer & analyst for high school sports broadcasts on 88.7 The Pulse. Despite being 17, Jason was also the Student Program Director for The Pulse and was recently named the 2023-2024 Radio/Audio Production program’s Student of the Year. A “fun fact” about Jason is that he was a “kid-caster for Fox Sports Arizona for a Coyotes game. I got to interview a player, got a signed stick, and was on live TV!” Congratulations & good luck Jason!
